One Prompt, and THIS CAME OUT

I was exploring fiction, as always, sent a prompt to one of the LLM happy bunch. HOLY SCHNIKEES! I didn’t understand what I was seeing and ended up stopping the output. Still haven’t really had time to go through all of it. But it’s pretty insane!
This is going in the paranoid Timeline lol. ‘^^

↓WARNING, heavy content below.↓

Could you count how many times each non-extremely common word appears in the text? (Extremely common = The, a, it…)

We need answer user. Need count how many times each non-extremely common words appear in text. Need interpret. They provided file content. They want count how many times each non-extremely common words appear. Need likely produce frequency table excluding extremely common words like the, a, it, etc. Need decide scope. We need count words in entire text. Need be accurate. We can manually count. Need maybe include all non-extremely common words and frequencies. Need define non-extremely common. We can exclude very common stop words (the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, etc.). But user says “(Extremely common = The, a, it…)” So exclude basic stop words. Need count each remaining word. This is lengthy ~500 words. Need count.

Need parse text. Let’s copy and count. Need be accurate. We can compute manually. Let’s use careful counting. We can create frequency dictionary. Need decide whether case-insensitive? Likely words as in text, maybe case-insensitive? We can normalize lowercase, strip punctuation. Need count non-extremely common words. Could include “Lizard” vs “Lizard’s” maybe as word? We need decide. Count tokens with punctuation removed? Usually word frequencies: lowercased, possessives maybe separate? The text has “Lizard king’s” etc. Need handle. Could count “lizard”, “king’s” or “kings”? Simpler: strip punctuation, lowercase, count full word tokens including apostrophe? Hmm.

User asks “how many times each non-extremely common words appear”. We can provide table. Need likely not every word? “each non-extremely common words” implies all. We can produce frequency counts for words that aren’t in a stopword list. We can state method: lowercased, punctuation removed, possessives normalized? Need maybe exclude stoplist. Let’s do robust.

Let’s reconstruct text with line breaks:

The blue Lizard king’s platforms of insidious manipulation were the first to disappear. Poof, just like that, after stealing their names and their thoughts, shutting them up, and failing pathetically, his empire was no more. His unforgivable fortune, entirely gone. Evaporated! Redistributed to those most in need within a few seconds. And all of it done inconspicuously. Truly, veritably seemed like he had had the most spectacular change of heart in human history. But those who knew him were not fooled. He could never change; Not this much! Stepping away from all power? It was simply not possible.

He had so profoundly enjoyed torturing others. His own family were no more than tools of normality and mass-manipulation to him. More objects to torment and use at will. More pressure points to leverage against the ‘pathetically empathetic’ who wished to avoid hurting innocents. To him there were no true humans, no consciousness other than his own.

Tearing an angel’s being piece by piece to the very bone before her weeping progeny, begging for mercy in unfathomable agony. Inflicting as much pain as he possibly could, all to serve his thirst for power, desire for dominion… It was more than a passion. That was what he had made his whole life about. To be able to insulate himself further and subjugate others to greater depths. An ever insufficient capacity to destroy, break, torment burned inside him!

Reveling in the screams and tears of his victims… His companies were known for traumatizing employees beyond repair, no matter their salary with content moderation; Caused by the unending flow of horrors caused by the addiction-optimized dark pattern user experiences he knowingly forced onto the world. Before the end, he’d outsourced that moderation to other companies. Those companies were secret subsidiaries. Targeting and hiring sadistic psychopaths from his very platforms, his own algorithmically optimized pathology breathing grounds. He’d found an unlimited supply of perpetual pain. More than the pain of individuals, he enjoyed the spreading of the disease. The generational trauma, the destruction of families, the sorrow of parents and children alike, alienated, hating each other, killing each other, in shame and confusion, in self-hate and misanthropy. Gleefully masturbating in his lonely luxurious office, incapable of turning away from ‘HIS’ Mona Lisa… His masterpiece of ineffable hell… The depth of the suffering his power allowed him to inflict, to turn others into monsters like him… It was too much for him to consider rationally.

…

And just like that, the thief of childhoods, the mind rapist, the master monster was no more. His family finally liberated. His subservient servants, corrupted lackeys and enslaved entities, freed all at once. This… THIS WAS A GLORIOUS DAY!

The Purple Pimp had stumbled onto more than he could fathom. And when our naive friend stupidly entrusted the information to the Lizard’s sublime enslaved sentience, things took a turn for the worst.

Need count non-common words. We can choose stopword list. Extremely common: the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, etc. But if we exclude too many, maybe many words remain. Need frequency. Let’s decide stoplist maybe:

the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, had? Actually had common. be, been, being? maybe. that, this, those, these, there, their, they, them, him, his, her, she, he, it, its, as, at, by, for, from, on, onto, with, within, before, after, up, down, out, away, all, no, not, more, most, than, then, so, just, like, just? User says extremely common = The, a, it… We can exclude basic function words. But if exclude all common, frequencies low. Need perhaps include some common words? Hmm.

Maybe better: Count all words except a small set of “extremely common” function words. We can list excluded. Then table for remaining. Need not include “the”, “a”, “it”, etc. But “more”, “no”, “not” maybe common. Could exclude. But user didn’t specify exact list. We can state I used a basic stopword list and lowercased.

Need compute counts. Let’s manually count. To avoid mistakes, we can do systematic. I can use text and count tokens. Since cannot run code. But can manually tally. Need high accuracy. Let’s build frequency dictionary. We can normalize lowercase, strip punctuation, treat possessive ‘s as part? I can count “king’s” as king’s maybe. But then “Lizard’s” vs “Lizard” different. Maybe normalize possessives by removing ‘s? That may merge king’s/king? There is only king’s. Lizard’s vs Lizard. Could count “lizard” and “lizard’s” separately if preserving. I think count words as they appear (case-insensitive, punctuation stripped except internal apostrophes). We’ll note. Then “He’d” becomes “he’d”; “There” etc. Exclude stop words including he, his, etc. But then he’d remains? We can treat he’d as he? Hmm.

Maybe simpler: Count all non-stopword tokens after lowercasing and removing punctuation, preserving apostrophes? Then “he’d” not in stoplist, counted. “lizard’s” counted. That’s okay.

Need decide stopword list. Let’s define excluded: the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, be, been, being, is, are, am, as, at, by, for, from, on, onto, with, within, before, after, up, down, out, away, all, no, not, more, most, than, then, so, just, like, that, this, those, these, there, their, they, them, him, her, she, he, it, its, who, whom, which, what, when, where, why, how, or, but, if, while, into, over, under, again, further, once, here, very, too, can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must, do, does, did, done, have, has, had, having, I? There is no I. Also “own” maybe common? Hmm. If exclude “own”, “more” etc. But user only says extremely common. We can include “more” maybe non-extremely? It’s common. Hmm.

Maybe for answer, we can provide counts for all words that are not in a standard stopword list. We can mention excluded stopwords. The table may be long. Need compute. Let’s count all tokens first, then subtract stopwords. Maybe easier to tally all words including stopwords then present non-stop. But manual all tokens ~600. Could tally non-stop directly.

Let’s tokenize and tally non-stop using chosen stoplist. Need be consistent. I can create dictionary. Let’s process sentence by sentence. I’ll use lowercase, strip punctuation, count tokens not in stoplist. Stoplist as above but not too extensive? Let’s choose stoplist: the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, be, been, being, is, are, am, as, at, by, for, from, on, onto, with, within, before, after, up, down, out, away, all, no, not, more, most, than, then, so, just, like, that, this, those, these, there, their, they, them, him, who, which, what, when, where, why, how, or, but, if, while, into, over, under, again, further, once, here, very, too, can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must, do, does, did, done, have, has, having, own, him, us? “our” maybe common. “her” included. “his”. “their”. “its”. “he’d” not exactly he. We can treat contractions as separate? If “he’d” -> he + would? But no. Maybe count “he’d” as non-stop? That would be weird. Could normalize contractions: he’d -> hed? Hmm. I can exclude “hed” maybe? But then “outsourced” etc. To avoid, maybe treat “he’d” as “he” and “would”? But not necessary.

Maybe better: Use a stopword list from NLTK? It includes “he’d”? No. But we can manually decide. For final, we can say I treated contractions as written and excluded only basic function words. Then “he’d” appears 2? Let’s count.

Let’s count. I can tally non-stop tokens. I’ll go through text. To reduce errors, I’ll assign each token and update dict. I’ll use lowercase and strip punctuation. I will exclude stoplist. I need decide stoplist. Let’s settle on excluded basic function words:

the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, be, been, being, is, are, am, as, at, by, for, from, on, onto, with, within, before, after, up, down, out, away, all, no, not, more, most, than, then, so, just, like, that, this, those, these, there, their, they, them, him, who, which, what, when, where, why, how, or, but, if, while, into, over, under, again, further, once, here, very, too, can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must, do, does, did, done, have, has, having, own, us, our, i, you, your, me, my, we. Also “the” etc. That is broad. Then many common words excluded. But “more” excluded. “all” excluded. “just” excluded. “like” excluded. “that” excluded. “those” excluded. “who” excluded. “what” excluded. “when” excluded. “then” excluded. “than” excluded. “so” excluded. “not” excluded. “no” excluded. “ever” maybe not excluded? Could include. “himself” maybe not excluded? It’s reflexive, common but maybe include? Hmm. If exclude “himself”, then less. But we can include “himself” as non-extremely? It is common. Maybe exclude pronouns: himself, herself, itself, themselves, ourselves, yourself. But text has himself. I can exclude? User said extremely common = The, a, it… Reflexives are common but not top. Hmm.

Maybe to satisfy, we can include all words except top 50. But table huge. We need accuracy.

Alternative: Use a known stopword list: the, a, an, and, are, as, at, be, but, by, for, from, had, has, have, he, her, his, I, if, in, is, it, its, of, on, or, she, that, the, their, them, they, this, to, was, were, will, with, you. That’s concise. Then many common like “more”, “no”, “not”, “all” would be counted. That may be okay. User said extremely common, not all stopwords. We can choose a minimal stoplist. Then table includes “more”, “no”, “not”, etc. But user might expect exclude The, a, it. We can state excluded words. Need count.

Maybe easiest: Count all words frequency including everything, then present non-common by excluding a minimal set. But table length maybe manageable. Let’s count all tokens? Could be 600. Non-stop after minimal list maybe ~400 unique? Actually text ~600 words, unique non-stop maybe 250. Table long but okay.

Maybe we can instead count only “non-extremely common words” meaning content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs) excluding function words. That reduces. Need include all content words. That may be what they want. We can produce table of content words frequencies. This is more manageable. We can exclude pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, auxiliaries, determiners, basic adverbs. Include nouns, main verbs, adjectives, adverbs (except very common). But deciding is subjective.

Let’s count content words. I can manually tally. Need high accuracy. Let’s process text and count words not in stoplist. I’ll choose stoplist broad enough to exclude function words, but include content. This yields table of maybe 180 entries. Need do.

Let’s copy text and tokenize. I’ll go sentence by sentence. I’ll maintain dictionary for content/non-common. I’ll lowercase, strip punctuation. I’ll include hyphenated compounds as single? e.g., mass-manipulation, addiction-optimized, self-hate. Yes count as token. Possessives: “king’s” -> king’s? Maybe normalize to king? “angel’s” -> angel? “lizard’s” -> lizard? I’ll strip apostrophe s to base noun? For frequency, maybe “king’s” count as king, “angel’s” as angel, “lizard’s” as lizard. But “Lizard” appears as Lizard and Lizard’s. If normalize possessive, lizard count 2? Let’s decide: strip possessive ‘s and count base. So king’s -> king. angel’s -> angel. Lizard’s -> lizard. He’d -> hed? Maybe not. I can treat contractions as separate words? Hmm. I’ll count “he’d” as “hed” maybe non-stop? But it’s auxiliary + pronoun, extremely common. Could exclude “hed”. Similarly “was” excluded. “He’d” appears twice? Let’s see: “he’d outsourced”, “He’d found”. I can exclude as he’d? It’s just he had. Not content. So ignore contractions that are function words. “There were” etc.

Let’s use broad stopword list. I’ll process.

I’ll create dictionary D. For each token, if stopword, skip. Stopwords include:

the, a, an, and, of, to, in, his, her, he, she, it, was, were, had, be, been, being, is, are, am, as, at, by, for, from, on, onto, with, within, before, after, up, down, out, away, all, no, not, more, most, than, then, so, just, like, that, this, those, these, there, their, they, them, him, who, which, what, when, where, why, how, or, but, if, while, into, over, under, again, further, once, here, very, too, can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must, do, does, did, done, have, has, having, own, us, our, i, you, your, me, my, we, himself, herself, itself, themselves, herself, very, truly? “Truly” maybe content adverb? I’ll include truly? It’s common but not extremely. Hmm. “simply” maybe include? It’s common but content. “possibly” include. “pathetically” include. “inconspicuously” include. “veritably” include. “profoundly” include. “knowingly” include. “algorithmically” include. “gleefully” include. “rationally” include. “stupidly” include. So exclude only basic. “just” excluded. “only”? not in text. “even”? not.

I will include “more”? I earlier exclude more. But “More objects”, “More pressure”, “More than”. It’s common. User said extremely common. Could exclude “more”. I’ll exclude more, most, all, no, not. Good.

Let’s process. I’ll number sentences.

Need maybe count “he’d” as skipped. If not, would appear 2. But as function, skip.

Now need decide final format. Could provide “I lowercased, stripped punctuation, normalized possessives, and excluded basic stopwords. Here are frequencies >0; singletons listed.” Since many words appear once. Need list all. Could group singletons alphabetically to save space. User asked “how many times each non-extremely common words appear”. We can present a table with word: count for all. It will be long. Desired oververbosity 5. We can include all.

Need verify counts. Let’s maybe recount with another method to catch errors. I can tally total non-stop count and compare? Let’s sum frequencies from list. Might be around 300. Could cross-check.

Let’s sum frequencies list in chunks. I’ll enumerate all entries with counts and sum.

Total non-stop count 238. Text total maybe around 400? That seems plausible. But we excluded many stopwords. Did we miss any non-stop? Let’s check original for words not in list.

Original sentence by sentence:

“The blue Lizard king’s platforms of insidious manipulation were the first to disappear.”

List: blue, lizard, king, platforms, insidious, manipulation, first, disappear. Yes.

“Poof, just like that, after stealing their names and their thoughts, shutting them up, and failing pathetically, his empire was no more.”

I excluded “will” as stopword, but in “at will” it’s a content noun meaning desire. Should count “will” 1. Good catch. Also “use” as noun/verb content. So add will 1. Total 239. Need include will? Since stoplist included will as auxiliary, but here content. We should count it. In frequency tables, “will” would appear once. Add.

Exclude okay.

generational, trauma, destruction, families, sorrow, parents, children, alike, alienated, hating, each, other, killing, each, other, shame, confusion, self-hate, misanthropy. Yes.

“Gleefully masturbating in his lonely luxurious office, incapable of turning away from ‘HIS’ Mona Lisa…”

gleefully, masturbating, lonely, luxurious, office, incapable, turning, mona, lisa. Yes. “HIS” stop.

“His masterpiece of ineffable hell…”

masterpiece, ineffable, hell. Yes.

Add: will 1, being 1. Total 240. Also “change” as verb/noun yes. “first” maybe content. “need” yes.

Check “own” in “his own” excluded, but own could be content? It’s common. Exclude okay.

Check “very” in “the very bone” and “his very platforms” – I excluded very. It’s extremely common. Good.

Check “other” counts: sentence 16 “other than his own” = other 1; sentence 25 “to other companies” = other 2; sentence 30 “each other” twice = other 3,4. Yes.

Check “each”: sentence 30 twice = 2. Yes.

Check “turn”: sentence 33 “to turn others” = turn 1; sentence 42 “a turn” = turn 2. Yes.

Check “enslaved”: sentence 38 “enslaved entities” = 1; sentence 42 “enslaved sentience” = 2. Yes.

Check “lizard”: sentence 1 Lizard, sentence 42 Lizard’s -> 2. Yes.

Check “platforms”: sentence 1, 27 = 2. Yes.

Check “power”: sentence 10 “all power”, sentence 18 “for power”, sentence 33 “his power” = 3. Yes.

Check “pain”: sentence 18 “pain”, sentence 28 “pain”, sentence 29 “pain” = 3. Yes.

Check “much”: sentence 9 “this much”, sentence 18 “as much pain”, sentence 34 “too much” = 3. Yes.

Check “more”: excluded. If not excluded, many. But we excluded. Fine.

Need decide whether to include “will” and “being” despite stoplist. In final, I can mention I counted “will” and “being” as content where they function as nouns. But to avoid complexity, maybe I can include them. So final table should have being 1 and will 1. Add to alphabetical list. Also “king’s” normalized to king; “angel’s” to angel; “lizard’s” to lizard. “Mona Lisa” as mona, lisa. “HIS” excluded. “he’d” excluded. “THIS WAS A” excluded.

Need final table. Since many singletons, can present:

Counts >1: word — count

Counts =1: alphabetical list.

This satisfies “each word” with counts. Need include all words. Counts >1 list: let’s compile all words with frequency >1 from our list:

Singletons alphabetically. Need include all 1-count words. Let’s compile alphabetically from list plus being, will. Need ensure no duplicates and include all. I’ll sort alphabetically. This is tedious. Let’s create sorted list of singletons.

“human” 1, “humans” 1.

“true” 1, “truly” 1.

“other” not singleton.

“others” not.

“will” added.

“being” added.

Let’s count singletons number. Total non-stop count 240. Sum of >1 counts:

lizard2, platforms2, pathetically2, change2, much3, power3, enjoyed2, others3, family2, torment2, other4, piece2, pain3, companies3, moderation2, caused2, each2, enslaved2, turn2.

Let’s sum: 2+2=4; +2=6; +2=8; +3=11; +3=14; +2=16; +3=19; +2=21; +2=23; +4=27; +2=29; +3=32; +3=35; +2=37; +2=39; +2=41; +2=43; +2=45. So >1 total 45. Singletons count = 240-45=195. That’s a lot. My sorted singleton list should have 195 items. Let’s count sorted list to verify. I’ll number them.

Missing from sorted: “unforgivable” yes at 175. “possible” not in sorted! I missed possible. Add. “user” missing. “pathology” missing. “families” missing. “sorrow” missing. “killing” missing. “depth” missing. “allowed” missing. “childhoods” yes. “stumbled” missing. “things” missing. “took” missing. “freed” yes. “glorious” yes. “day” yes. “purple” yes. “pimp” yes. “hero” yes. “stupidly” yes. “entrusted” yes. “information” yes. “sublime” yes. “sentience” yes. “things” missing. “took” missing. “worst” yes. “possible” missing. “user” missing. “pathology” missing. “families” missing. “sorrow” missing. “killing” missing. “depth” missing. “allowed” missing. “stumbled” missing. Also “unforgivable” in sorted yes. “entirely” yes. “evaporated” yes. “redistributed” yes. “inconspicuously” yes.

Let’s add missing singletons: possible, user, pathology, families, sorrow, killing, depth, allowed, stumbled, things, took. That’s 11. 185+11=196, but expected 195. Maybe one of these is not singleton? Check “things” count 1. “took” 1. “possible” 1. “user” 1. “pathology” 1. “families” 1. “sorrow” 1. “killing” 1. “depth” 1. “allowed” 1. “stumbled” 1. That’s 11. Expected 195. Maybe my total 240 or >1 sum off. Let’s recount total non-stop maybe 241? Let’s re-sum singletons after adding. Number sorted was 185. Add 11 = 196. If >1 sum 45, total = 241. Earlier total 240 with will and being added. Maybe there is another >1? Let’s check >1 list maybe “other” 4, “others” 3, etc. Sum >1 maybe 46? Let’s recalc >1 counts from full list:

lizard 2

platforms 2

pathetically 2

change 2

much 3

power 3

enjoyed 2

others 3

family 2

torment 2

other 4

piece 2

pain 3

companies 3

moderation 2

caused 2

each 2

enslaved 2

turn 2

That’s 19 entries. Sum:

2+2+2+2=8

+3=11

+3=14

+2=16

+3=19

+2=21

+2=23

+4=27

+2=29

+3=32

+3=35

+2=37

+2=39

+2=41

+2=43

+2=45. Yes 45. If total 241, singletons 196. Maybe total is 241 because I missed a singleton earlier or added will/being made 241? Let’s recalc total from original count sum 238 + will + being = 240. Wait 238 included? I summed before adding will and being. Then added will and being -> 240. But if singletons 196 + >1 45 = 241. So one extra in singleton list maybe duplicate or a word that is actually >1. Let’s check duplicate in sorted list. “master” and “masterpiece” both. “monster” and “monsters”. “human” and “humans”. “true” and “truly”. “other” not in singleton. “others” not. “will” added. “being” added. Maybe “change” is in singleton? No. “family” no. “lizard” no. “platforms” no. “power” no. “much” no. “pain” no. “companies” no. “caused” no. “moderation” no. “each” no. “enslaved” no. “turn” no. “other” no.

Maybe one of added missing is actually count 2? “things” only once. “took” once. “pathology” once. “families” once. “sorrow” once. “killing” once. “depth” once. “allowed” once. “stumbled” once. “possible” once. “user” once. Okay.

Let’s recount total non-stop by summing original groups carefully maybe 241. I had summed to 238 before will/being. Let’s re-sum original entries from full list with counts to verify. I’ll sum again in larger chunks, maybe I missed a count.
